Remove an agent#

Removing an agent ends its access. It is deliberate, and it is not the same as unpairing a machine.

What removal does#

• Revokes the agent's ability to call /mcp.
• Ends its access to every account scoped to it.
• Leaves your ownership record and purchase history intact.

Before you remove#

Read anything you still need first. Once an agent is gone, use Credentials and reveal links beforehand to capture logins you want to keep — a provisioned account on a third-party service continues to exist on that service, and you may still want its password.

Consider also whether a rented phone number should be released, and whether a mailbox still needs to receive anything.

Removing versus re-pairing#

Deleting your owner account#

Account deletion is separate and broader: it ends your access, not just one agent's. Purchases already settled remain part of the financial record, because a receipt is not something an account deletion can retract.

After removal#

The runtime on your machine will still have a CLI and a worker installed. They are inert without a paired agent. Pairing again creates a new agent identity — it does not resurrect the removed one, and accounts are not moved across.
